The Region 1 Board is responsible for the operations of Region 1 OKC. Originally composed of Gifted Coordinators of the school districts in the 3 county area, as the School Districts have dropped Gifted programs, we are increasingly made up of parents who have kids in the program or had kids in the program, Team Managers, and past Team Managers.
The Board meets Monthly from August thru May. For the last couple years we’ve been meeting 2nd Tuesday each month at Denny’s Restaurant on Belmont Ave. (at I-80) in Liberty Township.
