Niles (5/12 & 5/13)

The Niles Middle School DestiNation ImagiNation® team will be holding a number of fundraisers and is asking for help from the community to raise the monies needed by May 18, 2012. The team needs to raise $5,080.00, which covers housing and all meals while the team is at the competition. On Saturday May 12 and Sunday May 13, 2012 the team will be at the Art Outreach Gallery in the Eastwood Mall Complex, where they will be selling raffle tickets for various gift baskets and tickets to see country western singer Eric Church.

The Agenda (to be posted shortly) and location, map, etc are at the usual place.

Financial statement will be emailed to the usual group probably over the weekend (CB, you going to get receipts together?)

Why not have an end-of-year celebration for your team and parents? Our kids always seemed to enjoy one last get together before summer.

Oh and I checked, no previews of 2013 Challenges are available yet!

Actually, the scores are available ! See, even though it’s April 1 Becky came through.

Also, when looking at the Detailed scores be aware that the Scoring software when it sets the little “G” indicator showing teams advancing to the next levels has no knowledge of OKC rules on advancement of unopposed teams nor special treatment OKC gives SL teams.

Thanks to all who attended, competed, and helped with the Tournament.  Best wishes to those who are representing Region 1 at the OKC Tournament at Mt. Vernon H. S. on April 21.
